Kinship is a private family tree for invited relatives of the Jabido and Baptista families. It is not a commercial service.
What we collect
- Your Google sign-in details. When you sign in with Google, Kinship receives your name, email address and profile picture address. Your email decides which workspace and role you get.
- Family records. The people, dates, places, relationships and notes that members add to the tree.
- Activity history. Kinship records who made each change to the tree, and when.
- Sign-in sessions. A cookie keeps you signed in. Kinship also stores the session along with your IP address and browser type, and deletes it when the session expires or you sign out.
How it is used
Kinship uses this information only to sign you in, decide what you are allowed to see and change, and show the family tree to invited members. There is no advertising, no analytics tracking, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone outside the family workspace.
Where it is stored
Everything is stored in Kinship's own database on a private server. Google handles the sign-in itself. Kinship never sees your Google password and does not read your Gmail, contacts or other Google data.
Your choices
You can ask for your account or any record about you to be corrected or removed, or ask for a copy of it. You can also revoke Kinship's access at any time from your Google Account under Security, Third-party apps.
